In 2014, original owner Dave expressed his desire to step back and pursue other passions. Longtime automotive professional Jamie Laferriere saw an opportunity to carry the business forward. With decades of experience and a shared passion for customer service, Jamie officially took over ownership in September 2014.
Under new leadership, Dave’s Garage continued to grow while staying true to its core values of quality, transparency, and customer care.
In September 2024, Dave’s Garage proudly opened a new location in Gaylord, Michigan. It quickly became one of the busiest repair shops in the area—offering the same trusted service and personal care that has defined the Dave’s Garage brand.
